Concordia Student Senate Discusses Policy Changes, Holds Elections

Student Senate is busy in April with elections for Student Senate officers this week as well as a Student Senate meeting discussing campus housing policy changes and changes to the Constitution of the Associated Students and Senate By-Laws.
Vice President for Student Affairs and Athletics Gene Brooks will discuss the changes to the campus housing policies at the Student Senate meeting at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, in TLEC Auditorium. The Tuesday meeting will also include a vote to adopt changes made to the Constitution. A document of the changes to the Constitution was emailed to students on April 4.
Student Senate officer elections for the 2017-2018 school year will run from April 11-14. Students can vote at a table at the entrance to Janzow dining hall during lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and during dinner from 5-7:45 p.m.
Junior Dakota Judds is running for Student Senate president. Freshman Samuel Moore and sophomore Kimberly Sleeper are vying for vice president, while sophomore Jacy Johnston and junior Seth Euken are running for secretary and treasurer, respectively.
