Sower Sports Weekly Top 10: January 29, 2019
- WOMEN’S BASKETBALL–The women’s basketball team brought home the CIT Title with a 102-56 victory over Concordia Ann Arbor.
- WRESTLING–The wrestling team 3-1 at the GPAC Duals hosted by Briar Cliff this weekend. Jerry Stepps III led the team with a 4-0 record on the day.

- TRACK & FIELD– Freshman Anna Baack qualified for indoor nationals on Saturday, with a vault of 11’6 ½”. Baack joins teammate McKenzie Gravo who is also qualified for nationals in the pole vault.
- TRACK & FIELD– Freshman Cody Williams competed in the heptathlon this weekend and currently ranks 3rd in the nation.
- TRACK & FIELD– Sophomore Adrianna Shaw qualified for nationals in the weight throw with a toss of 46’ 11” to win the event at the Concordia Classic and junior Jazzy Eickhoff punched her ticket to nationals in the shot put.
- WOMEN’S BASKETBALL- Senior Dani Hoppes led the Bulldogs this weekend as the tournament MVP, netting 22 points on Friday and 14 on Saturday. Hoppes made 10 treys on the weekend. Sophomore Philly Lammers was also named to the CIT All-Tournament
- MEN’S BASKETBALL– The Men’s Basketball team finished with a win at CIT, defeating Concordia Chicago 95-87 on Saturday.
- MEN’S BASKETBALL– Sophmore Clay Reimers was the lone Bulldog named to the CIT All-Tournament team.
- TRACK & FIELD– Hitting ‘B’ standard this weekend were pole vaulters Simon Brummond Tyrell Reichert, Josiah McAllister in the 1000, and the Distance Medley Relay featuring McAllister, Thomas Taylor, Jake Rodgers and Pat Wortmann.
