If you missed Concordia University Nebraska sports this weekend, here is what happened.

Concordia women’s soccer returned to the winner’s circle with a 2-1 win over the York University Panthers Saturday afternoon in York. Senior Hannah Haas took the first goal for Concordia with 22 seconds left in the half off a pass from junior Kierstynn Garner. The second goal was an own goal from York to put the Bulldogs ahead. Senior Angela Banks was the goalie for the game with six saves and one goal allowed. The women are now 2-2-1 and next compete against Nebraska Wesleyan University on Sept. 16 in Lincoln.

Concordia men’s soccer also played York University tying 1-1 with the Panthers. Senior D’Andre Williams scored Concordia’s lone goal in the second minute, but the Bulldogs scored an own goal for York midway through the second half leading to an even score. Junior Nolan Fuelberth was the goalie for the game with three saves and one goal allowed. The men are now 1-2-4 and their next game is against Northwestern College in Seward on Sept. 18.
