If you missed Concordia University Nebraska sports this week, here is what happened.

The Concordia wrestling team had their first dual of the season against the Midland University Warriors on Nov. 6 in Fremont. The team won 36-6 and only gave up points in the final two matches.

Sophomore Aiden Trowbridge won the 133 match by forfeit, adding six points. Junior Bryce Karlin won the 141 match with a pin in 1:34 to add six. Junior Steve Barnes won the 149 match with an 8-0 major decision to add four. Junior Francisco Mendez won the 157 match with a 10-3 decision to add three. Sophomore Barret Brandt won the 174 with a 2:18 pin to add six. Finally, senior Hunter Weimer won the 187 match with a 4:01 pin to add the final six points.

Junior Torrence Keehn lost the 197 match in a 9-4 decision and senior Mason Garcia lost the 285 match in a 4-1 decision.

The team will send a selection of wrestlers to the Dakota Wesleyan University Open on Nov. 9 in Mitchell, S.D. Their next dual is against Hastings on Nov. 22 in Hastings.
