After having a six day layoff, the Concordia women’s tennis team hit the court again and dropped the match 8-1 to the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves. The Bulldogs fell to 3-13 overall and 1-3 in GPAC.

In singles play, the Prairie Wolves took care of all six matches, but the highlight of the day for the Bulldogs came in doubles play.

In doubles play, the No. 3 pair of sophomores Alison Ebel and Katie Hertz won the only match of the day for Concordia. Ebel and Hertz won 9-8 (7-2). Filling the No. 1 doubles spot was the pair of sophomore Annie Horn and freshman Hailey Lemos, who lost 8-1. Sophomore Hannah Boe and freshman Katelinn Wurm lost 8-3 in the No. 2 doubles spot..

The Bulldogs will return to the courts on Friday, April 15 when they travel to Fremont to take on Midland University. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
