Men’s Basketball Takes Early Lead but Falls to Red Raiders

Concordia’s men’s basketball team took on the Northwestern College Red Raiders on Saturday in Orange City, Iowa.
The Bulldogs stayed in the lead in the first half, which ended with Concordia leading 27-25.
Upon entering the second half of the game, Northwestern made up the deficit, and the teams continued scoring throughout the second half of the game, leaving the score 77-62 with a minute left in the game.
Concordia was unable to make up the difference in such a short amount of time, and the game ended with Northwestern winning 79-64.
Lead scorers for the game were junior guard/forward Tanner Shuck with 17 points, junior guard Brevin Sloup with 16 points, and junior forward Samuel Adjei with 11 points.
