Meet the 2024 Homecoming Court

The 2024 Homecoming Court nominees are seniors Caleb Beasley, Samuel Dunbar, Micah Henschen, Nathan Pennekamp, Logan Walgate, Elizabeth Ascher, Abby Baack, Greta Corneliusen, Rhaya Kaschinske, and Emily Loseke.
One Homecoming King and Queen will be elected from the five male and five female candidates.
Concordia Student Services sent an email to the student body on Sept. 20 with links to watch the candidates’ videos and vote for Homecoming King and Queen. Voting ends at noon on Sept. 25.
The King and Queen will be crowned at the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m.
Homecoming King candidates (in alphabetical order):
Caleb Beasley
Beasley is double-majoring in Christian Education Leadership and Secondary Education- History. He is also in the Director of Christian Education program. Beasley is from Roanoke, Virginia, and he once got a second-degree burn from a hotdog.
Samuel Dunbar
Dunbar is majoring in Music Education with his Lutheran Teacher Diploma. He is from Utica, Nebraska, and he was born in Germany.
Micah Henschen
Henschen is majoring in Exercise Science with minors in Biology and Psychology. He is from Bancroft, Nebraska. A fun fact is that Henschen was Bruiser his freshman year.
Nathan Pennekamp
Pennekamp is majoring in Secondary Education- Math. He is from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and his favorite food is peanut butter.
Logan Walgate
Walgate is majoring in Music Education and considering going to seminary after college. He is from St. Charles, Missouri, and he has been to 37 of the 38 Waffle House locations in Missouri.
Homecoming Queen candidates (in alphabetical order):
Elizabeth Ascher
Ascher is majoring in Secondary Education- English Language Arts with her Lutheran Teacher Diploma. She is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and she has taught English in Austria for the past two summers.
Abby Baack
Baack is majoring in Christian Education Leadership and Theology to become a DCE. She is from Seward, Nebraska, and Concordia is closer to her house than her grade school and high school.
Greta Corneliusen
Corneliusen is majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Biology and Theology. Her hometown is Colorado Springs, Colorado, and she has been to nine countries.
Rhaya Kaschinske
Kaschinske is majoring in K-12 Special Education. She is from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has gone to a school with the title “Concordia” for her whole life.
Emily Loseke
Loseke is double-majoring in Secondary Education- English Language Arts and Theology, and she is minoring in Psychology. She is from Leigh, Nebraska. She has ridden a mechanical bull at the hardest level and lasted eight seconds.
