CUNE Wrestling Secures 19 Wins at Missouri Valley College Invite

Concordia’s wrestling team placed 18th out of 41 teams at the Missouri Valley College Invite on Jan. 19-20. The team scored 39.0 points at the meet.
Concordia finished the meet with a total of 19 wins for the weekend, including four wins for freshman Michael Stann.
Team members who finished the meet with two wins each were sophomore Tyler Jorgensen, freshman Mario Ybarra, junior Zackary Moistner, senior Kyle Carey, junior Blake Castillo and junior Deandre Chery.
Senior Joshua Nelsen and junior Darrin Miller each had one win at the meet.
Concordia will host the GPAC Duals at Walz Arena on Jan. 26 at 9 a.m. against Hastings College, University of Jamestown (North Dakota), Doane University and Briar Cliff University (Iowa).
