Concordia Women’s Golf Claims Second in Opening Meet

The Concordia women’s golf team began its spring season with a second place finish out of 10 teams at the Midland University Invite on Monday, April 4 at the Fremont Golf Club. The team defeated all GPAC teams in attendance and shot a 369 during the tournament.
Junior Amy Ahlers led Concordia with a fourth-place individual finish. Ahlers shot an 85 with eight pars and one birdie. Junior Kayla Krueger and sophomore Brenna Gnuse tied for 16th place with each player shooting a 93. Sophomores Ashlen Pospisil and Lauren Sperry and freshman Madison Pitsch also competed for the Bulldogs.
The season will continue for the women’s golf team on Friday, April 8 at the College of Saint Mary Spring Shootout in Omaha.
