Bulldogs Fall to Midland in Road Match

The Concordia volleyball team traveled to Fremont and lost to the ninth-ranked Midland University Warriors 25-14, 25-22, 25-17.
With this game, the Bulldogs are now 5-6 on the 2017 season and 0-1 in GPAC play.
The duo of sophomore outside hitter Alex La Plant and junior outside Kelsey Baarck combined for 21 kills, but it was not enough as the Warriors had 42 digs throughout the three-set match.
Midland junior Priscilla O’Dowd led the charge for the Warriors with 13 kills and three blocks.
The Bulldogs now have some downtime, as they have the week off of matches. The next game will take place in Crete against another ranked opponent, sixteenth-ranked Doane University. Play is scheduled for Wednesday, Sep. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
