If you missed Concordia University Nebraska sports this week, here is what happened.

The Concordia women’s soccer team continued their win streak with a 4-0 shutout against College of Saint Mary. Junior Savannah Andrews started off the game with a quick goal in the second minute off an assist from fellow junior Kierstynn Garner. Garner also assisted senior Mirarosa Gyllenswan with the second goal of the day in the 23rd minute. Garner would kick a goal of her own in the 28th minute. Junior Ashlee Trujillo scored the final goal of the game in the 42nd minute. Senior Angela Banks was the goalie for the game with five saves and no goals allowed.

Garner scored her 40th career goal and is the fifth Bulldog to hit that milestone. The team is now 9-5-1 overall and 6-3 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. The team next plays on Oct. 26 against Mount Marty University in Yankton, S.D.
