Cheer and Dance Host Senior Night Invitational

Concordia’s cheer and dance teams hosted their first annual Cheer and Dance Invite on Saturday, Feb. 2 along with a senior night to honor graduating team members.
Participating schools in both cheer and dance included Concordia, Hastings College, Northwestern College (Iowa), Dordt College (Iowa), Doane University and Midland University. College of Saint Mary’s dance team participated in the dance segment of the competition.
Concordia took sixth place in the dance competition with a score of 63 points. In cheer, Concordia’s team scored 60.2 points and took sixth in that event as well.
During the invitational, six seniors from both teams were honored, including Elizabeth Frakes of Ellinwood, Kansas; Kennedy Garner of Ashland; Taeva Hoppe of Milford; Neleigh Lehr of Duncan; Sarah Rogge of Milford; and Chelsea Willard of Ashland.
