Krueger Paces Concordia Women’s Golf to Fifth-Place Finish

The Concordia women’s golf team earned a fifth-place finish as a team at the Doane College-Kaitlyn Erickson Invite on Thursday, April 28 at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln.
Junior Kayla Krueger tied for fifth as an individual shooting an 83. Junior Amy Ahlers tallied an 84 for seventh place. Sophomores Ashlen Pospisil and Brenna Gnuse tallied a 96 and 104 respectively. Sophomore Lauren Sperry scored a 114 and freshman Madison Pitsch tallied a 146 to round out the team scores.
Coach Brett Muller said Krueger looks to achieve all-conference status in the Bulldogs final meet held Monday. The final meet will be the No. 4 GPAC Qualifier.
The meet will be held in Mitchell, South Dakota, at the Wild Oak Golf Course on Monday, May 2.
